DownEast Basics, a high-style, low-price retailer of trendy fashions as well as modest clothing, originally opened at the shopping center in 2009. The store was part of the grand reopening of the Galleria after a section of the mall was damaged in last year’s arson fire. </p>

The ground (or lack of) isn’t the only challenge faced by players, though—the penguins themselves can be temperamental, and each type has their own unique personality traits. Players will have to wrangle the overly-excited Playful Penguin who runs away as it is approached, push the Fatty Penguin to safety, or figure out how to entice the stubborn Bratty Penguin to get on board! One to three stars are awarded based upon your performance on each level.</p>

Rangers will offer special evening tours of the house, one of the largest cliff dwellings in the park.</p>

<p>Musical entertainment will take place in the Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum Auditorium throughout the evening. The museum itself, and the non-profit Mesa Verde Museum Association Museum bookstore, will be open until 9 p.m. </p>

     Gallery/artist receptions, Dec. 2-10 – The artist community of Mancos boasts more art galleries per resident than any other city or town in the country. Several artists and writers – including Veryl Goodnight and Louis L’Amour – maintain studios and homes in the area. &#13;<br />
     Giving Tree – In the true spirit of the season, those in need can place an ornament on a tree in one of the designated businesses in town with a gift request. <p>The celebration of the completed renovation of the Church and grand opening of Chesapeake Systems new offices will take place from 5 to 8 p.m., at 801 West 33rd Street (corner of Chestnut Avenue and 33rd Street). </p>

<p>In 2010, Chesapeake Systems, then based at Hampden’s Mill Centre, received City zoning approval and completed purchase of the Church. In early 2011, the company began a fast-paced restoration of the revered landmark, which opened in 1879 to serve workers at the nearby mills, and which remained home to an active congregation until lightning and fire caused extensive damage to the church and its steeple in 2008. Today, the Church stands transformed.</p>

<p>Highlights of the transformation include the restoration of many of the Church’s distinctive architectural features including stone walls, chestnut beams, and stained glass windows. Chesapeake Systems also installed hickory floors and commissioned a new, specially designed stained glass window for the Chestnut Avenue side of the building.</p>

<p>The 9,000 square foot Church gives Chesapeake Systems additional space and new opportunities to expand services, support, and training for its regional, national, and international customers, which range from college students and professional graphic designers to major universities, nonprofits, government agencies and the local and national video and broadcast industry. Current clients range from the Baltimore Orioles to Disney affiliates and the BBC.</p>

<p> In order to stay ahead of the significant growth Razorfish’s digital media business is experiencing, the agency has hired back Jeff Lanctot, 39, to serve in the newly created role of Chief Media Officer. Lanctot, who begins work on October 5th, will report directly to Bob Lord, the company’s Global CEO.  </p>

<p>“We’ve seen such dramatic changes in the media, creative, and technology marketplace, even over the past few months since winning digital media agency of record for Disney and Travelocity,” said Lord. “To continue on the same winning trajectory, we needed someone at the highest level of the organization to spearhead our leading edge media presence. Having worked with Jeff in the past, I can’t think of a better person to be our first Chief Media Officer.”</p>

<p>Lanctot will be charged with myriad activities ranging from working with the executive team to identify the right investments and focus areas to collaborating with VivaKi and sister agencies to create the best approach to co-branded Publicis Groupe solutions. Additionally, he’ll serve as a strategic thought leader for several of Razorfish’s largest media clients, working to bring VivaKi’s impressive tools and massive buying scale more deeply into Razorfish’s media and search offering. </p>

<p>Lanctot originally joined Avenue A (now Razorfish) in 1999 as Media Director. He remained at the agency for 10 years, progressing through multiple positions including General Manager of the Northwest Region and SVP Global Media. He left to join Microsoft as Managing Director, Advertiser and Publisher Solutions, a position he vacated in February. Lanctot also serves on the Board of Directors for several media companies including Mixpo, WealthVisor.com, and AdXpose.</p>
